MORE INFO:( newborn baby suffering from Harlequin Fetus Syndrome (HFS). HFS is a genetic disease caused by a mutation in the ABCA12 gene. It appears to be transmitted as an autosomal recessive manner. It occurs about once in every 300,000 live births. A baby born with HFS has abnormally thick skin.
